Syllabus Isaiah Part 2
Studies in Isaiah is an expositional study of the biblical Book of Isaiah. Students will pay particular attention to the historical backgrounds of this book of biblical prophecy, looking to ascertain as best as possible what these words meant to the original listeners in ancient Israel.
Part 2 covers Chapters 40–66
Course Objectives
To help the student understand some of the main points and themes of Isaiah.To help the student grasp the importance of knowing the historical, geographical, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds when studying any book of the Bible.To discuss any appropriate application to today’s world. Although, the student will be encouraged to ascertain his/her own personal applications, as the Spirit of God enlightens.
