This class is for advanced readers who want to continue challenging themselves to grow and learn with a group of like minded believers. As a “continued reading” class, the specific focus will vary from quarter to quarter. Text selections may be from narrative, legal, poetic, or proverbial sections of the Tanakh. The prerequisite for this class is either Introduction to Biblical Hebrew 3, or permission from the instructor.
This class incorporates a wide range of teaching tools to give the student a good grasp of the Hebrew language and handle the biblical texts. Students will be able to go through the textbook with pre-recorded lectures and then take their knowledge to live online classes every week with instructor Rob Vanhoff.
During these live classes, students will be able to ask questions and will read through various texts of the Bible asking questions and getting a better understanding of the text while reading.
PLEASE NOTE: Although classes will be recorded for those who are not able to attend, students are required to attend a minimum of 6 live classes in order to pass the course.
